Leslie Devlin started as a makeup artist at the San Francisco and Los Angeles Operas. She began her film career when she joined the Makeup Artists Union in 1999. Since then she has worked on numerous feature films and tv shows. From Painted Veil to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, her work has taken her all over the world. Best known in the makeup world for her detailed handmade beard making, and extensive beard rental stock, Leslie works in all types of makeup mediums.
When not traveling for a film, she loves to travel for fun, and has been fortunate to travel all over the globe to places like China, Indonesia and Africa. Interestingly, while Leslie’s career has been in makeup, she holds a masters degree in African Studies and has spent time living in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Currently, her free time is spent in Los Angeles with her husband and their new baby.
